my name is maura and this is my blog. all photos are taken looking through my left eye with my right eye closed. it’s the only way i know, really!
growing up, my father’s minolta was pointed no fewer than three inches from my face. the sound of the shutter was annoying then and comforting now.
quite simply, i am in awe of the ordinary and forever a wanderer.
beyond the lens:
yoga tops the list, long walks, the first sip of tea in the morning, an unexpected smile, a delicious meal with chopsticks, gardening and cooking are energizing and calming at the same time, music that begs for dance - and when all else fails - a splash of vintage jewelry always does the trick!
